Successful Week for the Royals
The Royals volleyball team had another successful week, winning both of their games at home.
The Royals volleyball team had another successful week, winning both of their games at home. In the first match against Williston State on Tuesday, September 6th, the Royals used a balanced attack and solid serving to win the match 3-0. They came out very strong in the first set, and WSC battled back. The Royals showed a lot of toughness hanging on to win the first set and didn't look back.
On Saturday, September 10th, Jamestown JV came to town, and the match was back and forth. The Jimmies came out strong and won the first set handily, but the Royals responded in set 2 to tie the match. The Jimmies took set 3, and then had a 21-16 lead in set 4. The Royals fought back and won set 4, going on to win the fifth set and the match.
