Women’s Basketball: Royals split the week.
Royals go 1-1 on the week.
This past week the Royals had two road conference games against number 1 and 2 in the Mondak Conference, Williston State College, and North Dakota School of Science, respectively. The Royals dropped their first game of the week against Williston before bouncing back for a 4-point win against NDSCS. The Royals move to 17-9 overall on the season (10-8 MonDak record).
"This week was a great test for our group, I thought in both games we defended at a high level. Shots just did not drop for us against Williston, but there were plenty of positives to take away from it. I love the way this group responded after the loss. We had two great practices before the Science game, in the game the ladies came out with great energy on both sides of the ball. We continued to battle all game long, and it was nice to get the reward for our hard work". Said Head Coach Ryan Clark.
The Royals will be on the road this Thursday, with a game against United Tribes before returning home to face Miles Community College on Sunday the 18th of February.
