Lady Royals Season Ends in Region XIII Quarterfinals - Men Move On
The Royals Men's & Women's basketball teams were in post season action last night in the Region XIII Quarterfinals.

The women came in as the 6th seed, which meant they had to travel to Williston, ND to take on the Tetons of Williston State College. They were able to keep it close early with a score of 14-13 in favor of WSC after the 1st quarter. However, scoring struggles in the 2nd and 3rd combined by a 28 point output by the Tetons sealed the Royals fate. They would fall 73-46 ending their season.
Tiziana Huici would finish the night with 27 points leading LRSC.
The Lady Royals season ends with an 8-23 overall record (5-16).
The men would come in as the 3rd seed, giving them the opportunity to host Williston State College at home Wednesday night. The Royals were able to push their lead to 10 by halftime. After the half, the tetons were able to cut the lead to 4. However, LRSC would respond and push the lead to nearly 20 before settling into a 77-66 victory to advance to the Region XIII semi-finals.
All five Royal starters would hit double figures led by Clarence Daniels with 24 points and 9 rebounds. Anthony Davis and Ben Hoverson would chip in 15 points. Davis would contribute 6 assists to the Royals cause.
Their record now sits at 19-12 on the season, with a matchup against Dawson CC in the semi finals, Sunday night, 7pm in Wahpeton, ND. The Royals have lost all 3 matchups against the Buccaneers this season.
