The season came to an end Wednesday evening for the Lake Region State College women's basketball team. North Dakota State College of Science earned an 88-48 victory in the semifinals.
Emily Schafer led the way with 12 points for the Royals. Cassidy Nelson scored nine points while R'rionna Brocks added eight. Mer Gach added seven points off the bench. Jadyn Fee scored six points while Mackenzie Irwin rounded out the scoring with three points.
LRSC finished with a record of 18-12. The team's sophomores are Nelson, Irwin, Fee and Helen Schuster.
