Royals Basketball Inks 6 to Finalize 2023 Recruiting Class

Clete Robinson a 6'7 G/F from Denver, CO
Clete, comes to LRSC after a 19-5 season at Denver North HS where he was 1st Team All-Conference and All-State Honorable Mention. He average 14.4ppg 4.9rpg 1.9apg 2.0spg & 1.5bpg.
Coach Marshall on Clete, "Clete is a versatile athlete. He filled up the stat sheet for Denver North this past season, doing a bit of everything. He has the ability to play above the rim and help our team in a variety of ways. He is a smart, dedicated player who has his best basketball ahead of him."
Daion Doughty is a 5'11 PG from Anchorage, AK
Daion is a transfer from Central Arizona where he redshirted last season. He had a storied high school career at East Anchorage High School where he helped lead his team to a State Championship his junior year and 2nd place finish his senior year. He was an All-Conference and All-State player that averaged 13.1pgg and 4.0apg his senior year.
Coach Marshall on Daion, "Daion is a proven winner. He has played in big game after big game and shown up. He is a guy that can really run the show. Daion can stretch the floor with his 3 point shooting, break down the defense by getting in the paint and he gets after teams on the defensive end. I am excited to see the impact he has on our team."
Malachi Kopman is a 6'6 W from Queensland, AUS
Malachi is finding basketball a little later in life as he was a star track and field athlete in Australia. He currently represents the Logan Thunder and averaged 18.5ppg while leading Marsden State High to a silver medal at the Queensland All Schools Tournament. He also made the QLD State Performance Program Squad.
Coach Marshall said this about Malachi, "Malachi is a phenomenal athlete. He has a lot of diversity in his game and the ability to beat defenses in a variety of ways. I love his ability to play above the rim, he handles the ball well for his size and is a solid shooter from beyond the arc. He has a lot of potential and I am looking forward to him being a part of our team."
Jordan Willis is a 6'10 F/C from Sydney, AUS
Jordan comes to LRSC after spending a year at Neosho CC where he averaged 2.4ppg 2.9rpg and shot 50% from the field. Before coming to the US he competed for the Illawarra Hawks. He also made the NSW U20 State Team that won gold.
Coach Marshall had this to say about Jordan, "Jordan comes to us after spending last year at another NJCAA school. I am looking for him to use that experience to help lead our squad this coming season having had that experience at the college level. He is a solid inside out big man that can effect the game in more ways then scoring. Jordan has played & competed at a high level in Australia and I expect that to help him have a great year for us."
Alvin Jones Jr is a 6'2 G from Osseo, MN
Alvin played his high school basketball for Osseo High School where he averaged 6.4ppg & 1.4apg while helping lead his team to a 16-13 record.
Coach Marshall on Alvin, "Alvin is an aggressive defender who gets after people. He brings an energy on that end of the floor that I really value. Alvin has an attacking style of play on both ends of the floor that is going to be valuable to our team next season."
Master Diggins is a 6'4 G from Denver, CO
Master played his high school basketball for Faith Christian High School where he helped lead them to a 25-1 record and a 3A State Championship. Master was an All-Conference and All-State player his senior year while averaging 10.4ppg 2.6apg 5.3rpg & 1.3spg.
Coach Marshall had this to say about Master, "I am excited to add an All State talent like Master to our team. More importantly though, I am excited to add a winner. Having helped lead his team to state, he played in a number of big games. He is a tremendous athlete that is relentless when attacking the basket. He plays the game without fear and I look forward to him bringing that tenacity to our team next season."
