Royals Moving On
Five Royals basketball players are moving on to the next level.
Head Coach Jared Marshall is pleased to announce that 5 Royals basketball players on moving on to the next level after their time at Lake Region State College.
Clarence Daniels, caps off his stellar All-American season with a commitment to the University of New Hampshire. UNH is a division 1 school that competes in the America East Conference. They just finished off a 15-13 season.
All Conference Player Anthony Davis made his commitment to NAIA Waldorf University, that competes in the North Star Conference. Anthony will look to make an immediate impact for Waldorf as they are coming off a 5-23 season.
Ben Hoverson and Ethan Damerum will be moving on to Dakota State University in South Dakota. DSU is an NAIA school that competes in the North Star Conference. Dakota State is coming off a 13-18 season and is no stranger to recruiting LRSC, they previously had Lamarr Wood & Jordan Lynn on roster these past couple seasons.
James Sommer will be heading to Arizona where he will play for the Benedictine University-Mesa. Benedictine is an NAIA school that competes in the CalPac Conference and is coming off a 13-17 season.
Coach Marshall on the Royals moving on, "I am excited for each of these young men to get an opportunity to continue their academic and athletic careers at 4 year institutions. I fully expect each of them to be able to come in and make an impact on their new programs. They all represented our program the right way and I am honored to have been able to coach them. I wish them nothing but success for what comes next."
