Coach Steven Anderson begins his first season as head baseball coach at Lake Region State College, ready to build on the program's strong foundation.

Previously, Coach Anderson was the head baseball coach at Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua, WI (2023-2024), where he improved the team’s winning percentage over both years. The team also saw progression in every major statistical category, which led to their best conference finish in over five years. He also coached the Minocqua Post 89 Senior American Legion Baseball team (19U) during this period.

Before Minocqua, Coach Anderson was an assistant baseball and girls basketball coach at Stoughton High School in Stoughton, WI (2022) and started his coaching career as an assistant baseball coach at his alma mater, Eau Claire Memorial High School in Eau Claire, WI (2020-2021).

While pursuing his bachelor’s degree in philosophy at UW-Eau Claire, he played on the club baseball team (from 2018-2020). He earned his Master’s degree in Sports Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023. Coach Anderson also served in the United States Army before embarking on his coaching career.
