Royals Get Road Win Over Williston
The Lake Region State College baseball team got a much needed road win over Williston State College yesterday.

Royals Get Road Win Over Williston
The Lake Region State College baseball team got a much needed road win over Williston State College yesterday.
Game 1:
The Royals played a complete game and jumped on the Tetons early scoring 6 runs. Williston chipped away cutting it to 6-4 in the 5th. The Royals added an insurance run in the 6th and had an opportunity to put it away in the 7th with a bases loaded opportunity. They couldn't' capitalize however. Brandon Walsh came in to get the save and the 3 run lead was enough as he finished of the Royals victory 7-4.
Game 2:
After getting a big win in the first game, the Royals came out and continued to play well in game 2. They found themselves in an early hole during the early innings. However, they fought back and scored 8 runs to take a 1 run lead heading into the final innings. Williston scored 2 runs in the 7th to pull ahead and win it by the final score of 11-10. The Royals played tough the whole way.
