LRSC Women’s Hockey Signs Strong Defenseman and Skilled Forward
LRSC Women’s Hockey Signs Veronica Asquith and Tatum Provencher
Veronica Asquith will join LRSC Women’s Hockey come this fall. Veronica is from Gimli, Manitoba and has been playing with the AAA Interlake Lightening for the past three seasons. Asquith will bring a wealth of knowledge and work ethic from playing 96 games in the Manitoba Female Hockey League. Veronica is a determined and hardworking player who uses her mental and physical strength to win puck battles and make smart hockey plays. Veronica was selected to the Top 68 program of excellence for Manitoba players in 2022. “Veronica will add depth to our powerplay, penalty kill, and even strength lines on the blueline. Veronica will bring a strong defensive game that allows her to find success in the offensive zone as well. Veronica is an extremely hard worker on and off the ice and will bring great leadership qualities to our program” Kraft stated. “Our program is thrilled to add her to our already talented and strong defensive core.”
Tatum Provencher will join the Royals this fall up front. Tatum is from Glasgow, Montana and has been playing hockey at many different levels. Tatum will bring good hockey IQ, speed, and heavy shot. Tatum will bring her tremendous work ethic and knowledge of the game to the Royals. “We are thrilled to have Tatum come to us this fall, she plays a full 200-foot game and is willing to do what it takes to find success in the team aspect of things and individually.” Tatum has participated in the 2021 USA National Championship tournament for Team Wyoming. Tatum has been selected to the MAHA All State team in 2021 and was named the captain of her program from 2019-2023.m “I am excited to be part of history at Lake Region State with starting this program. I am thrilled to be a part of the Devils Lake Community” Tatum stated. Welcome aboard Tatum!
