The Lake Region State College men’s hockey team continues to build even as the college seeks a new head coach.
Late last week, Christian Vivian announced that he accepted a coaching position at another university.
LRSC Athletic Director Jared Marshall said Royals Athletics will continue to push forward as a program and get things ready for the inaugural 2023-2024 season.
“Christian has provided a burst of energy for this program since day one and while we still have a few spots to fill, the team could be ice ready tomorrow."
Marshall said a search for a new men’s hockey coach will begin immediately.
The Royals men’s and women’s hockey teams will kick off their seasons later this fall.
With the addition of men’s & women’s hockey, Lake Region State College now offers five NJCAA sports & four club sports.
