Lake Region Women's Hockey Adds Manitoba Forward Stephanie Rosset for 2025-26
Lake Region State College Women's Hockey is proud to announce the commitment of Stephanie Rosset for the 2025-2026 season. The right-handed forward from Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, played her high school hockey with the Portage Collegiate Saints, helping lead the team to a strong 20-6 season record. Rosset is known for her versatility, balancing competitive hockey with a wide range of sports including ringette, badminton, softball, and track and field.
"Stephanie is incredibly multi-talented. she brings not only hockey skill, but also a diverse background in sports, leadership, and community involvement," said Head Coach Sawyer Diseth. "What stood out most to me, though, was her character. From the minute she stepped on campus, it was clear she wanted to be a Royal. As a coach, those are the kinds of players you want in your program — driven, passionate, and committed to something bigger than themselves."
Off the ice, Rosset is fluent in both French and English, enjoys mountain travel with her family, and aspires to become a teacher. Her well-rounded background and commitment to excellence make her a strong addition to the Royals program both athletically and academically.
