Lake Region's Maggie Bender Named First Team All-Conference in Mon-Dak Athletic Conference
Lake Region State College standout Maggie Bender has been named to the Mon-Dak Athletic Conference First Team for her performance during the 2025 softball season. A 5-foot-9 sophomore from Conrad, Montana, #16 Bender made her mark as a dual-threat player for the Lady Royals, contributing both in the circle and at first base.
Bender, who throws and bats left-handed, pitched 76 innings for the Royals this season, tallying 32 strikeouts and playing a key role in the team's success on the mound. Her consistency and calm presence under pressure helped anchor the Royals' defense throughout the spring.
A product of Conrad High School in Montana, Bender's versatility and reliability made her a cornerstone of Lake Region's lineup. Whether taking the ball as a starting pitcher or fielding her position at first base, she provided both skill and stability for the Royals.
Bender's recognition as a First Team All-Conference player caps off an impressive season and reflects her dedication to the program and continued growth as a student-athlete.
