Lake Region State College Softball Welcomes Grisel Rascon to the Royals

The Lake Region State College softball team is thrilled to announce the signing of Grisel Rascon, a talented middle infielder from James Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas. Grisel has officially committed to join the Royals for the 2025-26 season, adding depth and strength to the team's roster.

A dedicated athlete with over 9 years of experience in softball, Grisel brings a wealth of skill and passion to the field. During her time at James Bowie High School, she earned recognition as a member of the All-District team, showcasing her abilities as a versatile and dependable player. In addition to her high school achievements, Grisel has also excelled as part of the Athletics Mercado travel team, where she has honed her craft alongside some of the region's top young talent.

Grisel enjoys fishing in her free time and plans to pursue a business degree at Lake Region State College. She also looks forward to furthering her education by eventually obtaining her real estate license. With her strong work ethic and dedication, both on and off the field, Grisel is poised for success in her athletic and academic endeavors.
