Rigley Astle Joins Lake Region State College Hockey for Spring 2025

Rigley Astle, a standout forward from Bismarck Century, has taken the next step in his hockey career, officially signing with Lake Region State College in January 2025. Astle, who wears #12 for the Royals, and joined their roster as a spring semester addition, brings a high hockey IQ and strong playmaking ability to the team.

Astle's journey began in Bismarck, where he played his high school hockey for the Century Patriots. His favorite memory from his prep career was competing in the 2023-24 North Dakota state hockey tournament, an experience that solidified his love for the game and his drive to compete at the next level.

A player known for his intelligence on the ice, Astle made an immediate impact with the Royals, not only contributing offensively but also elevating the play of his teammates. His ability to read the game, anticipate plays, and make smart decisions has made him an asset.
