Coach Waddell on Jorie: "I couldn't be more excited that Jorie has decided to join our family! I have had the pleasure of coaching her in club and camps for the past four years, and the growth that she has made as a setter is truly remarkable. She has so many attributes that will make her a strong contributor to our program, and I think that she has a very high ceiling. I'm excited for the opportunity for Jorie to work with our coaching staff and develop even further at the collegiate level. Plus, I think she is just a wonderful person, and she is going to add so much to the program! She exemplifies everything we look for in a student-athlete."
When asked why she chose LRSC Volleyball, Jorie had this to say: "Choosing a college was a long process for me, but I am overjoyed with my decision to choose Lake Region. There are so many things that drew my attention to LRSC including the staff, the volleyball program, and the countless opportunities for growth. Pursuing my education and getting the collegiate athlete experience will help prepare me for the future. I am confident in my choice because every time I think about it, it makes me incredibly happy. I have a good feeling that I am going to be comfortable here, and I cannot wait to learn more about myself and the life I have ahead of me."
Jorie will be joining a strong returning nucleus and an exciting 2025 recruiting class that includes a lot of local talent. The 2025 Royals Volleyball Season is looking to be very exciting!
