Desidy Schwanke, Bailey Munson, and Lindsey Nyhagen have all three been named to the Region 13 All-Region Team. Schwanke and Munson are receiving this honor for the second season in a row, and Nyhagen is a first time honoree, following her All-Conference recognition, along with Desidy Schwanke. All three of these players were a huge part of the success of the Royals Volleyball team.
Desidy Schwanke, an outside hitter from Leeds, North Dakota, had a phenomenal season for the Royals. She led the conference in multiple categories as a 6-rotation outside hitter. She put up some huge stats this year including 463 kills, 3.89 kills per set, 44 service aces, 541 good serve receptions with only 24 errors, 403 digs, 45 blocks, and a very impressive 533 points.
Bailey Munson, a libero from Thompson, North Dakota, also had very impressive stats controlling the back row for the Royals. She had 677 digs with 5.69 digs per set to go along with 24 service aces, and 608 serve receptions with only 20 errors.

“The stats that these three players amassed on the season only tell part of the story of the impact that they have had on LRSC Volleyball. Their leadership was huge for us this season and a big reason for our success over the past two seasons. They are all three very positive role models with a competitive edge that was infectious for the rest of the team. All three of these players showed huge growth while playing for the Royals Volleyball team, and it was an honor to be able to coach them for the short time that I did,” Head Coach Steve Waddell.
