LRSC was looking for a little payback after having BSC on the ropes at home earlier in the season. That match the Royals jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead only to see it slip away and fall 3-2. With high expectations they took the floor. However, it was one of those nights you just wish you could get back. Nothing seemed to go the Royals way from the beginning, while the Mystics were clicking on all cylinders. They would take advantage early and never look back. BSC would win the first set 25-13, second set 25-9 and the third set 25-21. Sweeping the Royals 3-0 to win.
Head Coach Brigitte Greywater would say after, "It just was not our night. We did not have it. When you play the #16 team in the nation and you do not have it, they make you pay. That is exactly what Bismarck did tonight, they took advantage and made us pay for every mistake we made. As a team all we can do is come together, get better and fix our mistakes. We need to put this one behind us and get ready for DCTC."
The Royals are now 10-8 (2-2) and after last nights loss they are sitting in 3rd in the MonDak. They will be back in action Sunday, 1pm versus regional opponent DCTC. Come out and support.
Go Royals!
