Two sophomore Royals Volleyball players have committed to schools to continue their education and volleyball careers. Shockingly, they played for the same high school team as well – Malta High School. Adrianna Bibeau has committed to University of Minnesota Morris and Mary Grace Kalal has committed to Mayville State University.
Adrianna Bibeau, 5'10" MB for the Royals was a smaller middle for the Royals but worked hard to provide the position the Royals needed this season. "She is probably a true outside hitter, very dynamic with a quick swing, but we needed a middle", Coach Greywater states. "She was a leader on and off the floor for us and gave it her all at each practice. Adrianna's energy, drive and passion will be a great asset to the University of Minnesota Morris Volleyball program." She will continue her education in pre-physical therapy. Adrianna was a standout student at LRSC, a member of PTK and Student Senate President. She will graduate with a Fitness Trainer Technician AAS degree and an Associate of Science degree this May.
Mary Grace Kalal, 6' RS for the Royals was a hard hitter who was tough to stop. She came in to LRSC as a middle hitter who transitioned to the right side due to her blocking ability and power. "She worked hard to get where she is within our program. And spent countless hours working on her swing," states Coach Greywater. "Mary Grace loves the game of volleyball and goes into every match with her eyes on the prize. Her energy, passion, and dedication will be an asset to Mayville State's Volleyball program." Mary Grace will continue her education in exercise science or physical education. She held the position of captain for the LRSC volleyball program this fall and was a member of the women's basketball program. Mary Grace will graduate with a Fitness Trainer Technician AAS degree and an Associate of Science degree this May.
