Head Softball Coach Ben Morris is excited to announce the signing of another strong player from Hawaii, Sadie Schilling of Lanai City, HI has signed her National Letter of Intent to play softball for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. Sadie attended Lanai City High School in Lanai, Hawaii.
During her senior season she was able to gain a:
Batting Average: .400
On Base Percentage: .690
Doubles: 4
Triples: 3
Homerun: 1
Runs Scored: 14
Stolen Bases: 8
Sadie will be able to come in right away and add depth to the middle infield positions. She played with current Lady Royal's short stop Cherie Malacas while in high school. Sadie will bring a quick glove defensively and offensively will be a threat at either the top or the bottom of the order. She is also bringing in more speed to add to the aggressive baserunning nature that we have developed here at LRSC. I am excited to see how she will develop this upcoming season, and I believe that she will be right there competing for a starting spot come Spring.
Go Royals!!
