No Quit Royals Earn Win Over BSC

On Monday, January 20th, the Lake Region State College men's basketball team traveled to Bismarck, ND to take on Bismarck State College in a MonDak Conference game.
Looking up at the clock with four minutes to go, despite leading for most of the game the Royals found themselves down 97-87. BSC had unleashed a three point barrage making 13 of 19 threes in the seconed half. Most teams would have thrown in the town but the Royals did not quit. They held the Mystics scoreless for the final four minutes of the game going on an 11-0 run. They would close out the game with one last stop as time expired to win 98-97.
Dion Ford would explode for a career high 47 points, he added 14 rebounds and 6 steals to go with it. Myles Arnold had 16 points and 10 assists.
Head Coach Jared Marshall said after the game, "Proud. Unbelievably proud is all I have to say about this game right now. Despite all the obstacles we have faced this team continues to show up and work hard every game. It paid off tonight, these guys earned this win. They had no quit in them and continued to fight the whole game."
The Royals are now 7-12 (1-2) and will be back in action Wednesday night at 8:30pm versus UTTC at the sportscenter.
