Beijan Newbern Commits to Royals

Head Coach Jared Marshall is excited to announce the signing of Beijan Newbern to the Royals basketball program.

Beijan is a 6'4 guard from New Hope, MN. He comes to LRSC from Division 2 MSU-Billings where he spent his first year, appearing in 16 games and averaging 11.3mpg. Beijan attended Maranatha Christian in high school, averaging 23.5ppg 6.5rpg and 3.1apg.

Head Coach Jared Marshall had this to say about Beijan, "I am fired up to add Beijan to our team next season. He is a guy we pursued very hard out of high school. He had the opportunity to spend the season playing with his brother at MSUB. That experience at that level will only help him as he continues his career with us. Beijan is an outstanding scorer and has the ability to beat you in a variety of ways. He is also active as a rebounder, passer and on defense. I look forward to the leadership and experience that Beijan will bring to our team next season."
