Johntae Martin Latest to Join LRSC Basketball Team

Head Coach Jared Marshall is excited to announce the signing of Johntae Martin from Milwaukee, WI to the Royals basketball team.

Johntae is a 6'4 guard that played his high school ball at Milwaukee Washington High School. During his senior season Johntae averaged 8ppg 7rpg 3apg 2spg. During his career at Washington he was a 2x City All Conference Selection and a 2x All Area Selection. He also helped lead his team to 3 City Conference Championships, 4 Regional Championships, 3 Sectional Championships and they qualified for the Wisconsin State tournament 3 times coming in 2nd the last 2 seasons.

Head Coach Jared Marshall had this to say about Johntae, "Johntae comes to us from Wisconsin powerhouse Milwaukee Washington, where he had a tremendous amount of success throughout his career. Johntae is a winner, plain and simple. His attitude and approach to the game, coming from such a successful program will help us maintain our high standards here at LRSC. As a player he is very versatile, one minute he was bringing the ball up, the next he was posting up, he always guarded the other teams toughest player and did a little bit of everything in between. That is what impresses me most about him. I am not sure how we are going to use him exactly, I just know he is going to give us a lot of options, which excites me."
