Leif Nelson Stays Home to Play for Royals

Head Coach Jared Marshall is excited to welcome Leif Nelson to the Royals basketball team.

Leif Nelson, a 6'7 forward from Devils Lake, ND has signed to play for Lake Region State College. Leif was an All-EDC honorable mention his senior year at Devils Lake High School. He averaged 10.7ppg 9.3rpg 1.7bpg.

Head Coach Jared Marshall had this to say about Leif, "Leif has shown tremendous growth as a player over these last few years. I am excited to continue to get to work with him these next two seasons to help his development and take his game to the next level. Leif is a special kind of player, he's 6'7 and has the ability to play inside, outside and knock down the three. What always impressed me most watching Leif this last season was how he always effected the game in one way or another. He is a long, athletic player and I can't wait to see how he is going to fit in with our team!"
