After the game Head Coach Jared Marshall said, "It feels good to get one back after that early season loss to them. We did not start the game the way I would have liked but we finished strong and that is what matters. Obviously, Cedric and Jordan had great nights tonight and they are playing very well for us. We also had some other guys really step up when we needed them in James Streeter and Derrick Laudenbach. The difference in the game was our 21 offensive rebounds. We had been struggling in that area and I challenged our guys to be better. They responded and I am proud of them for that."
With the win Lake Region State moves to 17-8 (5-2) on the season. They remain in a two-way tie for second place with Dawson CC. The Royals will be back in action Monday night versus Williston State College.
