2015: Kelsey Schlenk will finish the 2015 golf season with the same plans as in 2014, with a trip to the National Tournament… Kelsey finished 3^rd at the 2015 Regional Tournament hosted by Mesabi Range Community College… This season Kelsey finished 1^st at the Bismarck State College Invitational… 2^nd at the Fergus Falls Invitational… 2^nd at the Mesabi Range Invitational… and tied for 10^th at the University of Jamestown Invite.  In her two seasons golfing for Lake Region Kelsey has never finished outside of the top 10… and she has won six of the eleven tournaments she has competed in…  Schlenk was also named to the 2015 All-Region XIII Team… Kelsey also plays for the women’s basketball team at Lake Region State College…

Before LR:  Kelsey is originally from East Grand Forks, Minnesota…  She competed in golf, basketball, and volleyball for the East Grand Forks Green Wave…  She was All-Conference in all three sports each year… She was All-Section for volleyball and basketball three of her four years…  Kelsey made the state tournament in golf twice… and holds three East Grand Forks records in women’s basketball (most made 3’s in a game; most made 3’s in a season; and most points in a game)…

Personal:  Kelsey is pursuing a degree in nursing from Lake Region State College…  She plans on continuing with school and becoming a nurse practitioner in PEDs…  Kelsey is also a part of Phi Theta Kappa…
