Jacked Up Royals End Season on a High Note
Riding high after a big weekend where they won four games, the Royals set out to Bottineau to close out the regular season against MonDak foe Dakota College at Bottineau.
Riding high after a big weekend where they won four games, the Royals set out to Bottineau to close out the regular season against MonDak foe Dakota College at Bottineau. Earlier in the season, LRSC defeated DCB 3-1. Coming off such a high from the past weekend and taking on an opponent they had already defeated, the Royals wanted to make sure they were locked in to avoid a let down.
The second they took the court their was no sign of a let down anywhere as they were in complete control from the get go. The first set ended up being their closest winning by a score of 25-22. After the close first set, they rolled winning the next two sets 25-14 and 25-17. Never once looking back taking the match 3-0.
Rachel Hill had another solid night for the Royals as she recorded all 34 assists. Annie Jorgenson had 14 digs for LRSC.
With the win the Royals finished a complete turnaround from the previous season. Their record 24-12 (8-4) and third place in the MonDak.

5.) Miles Community College
6.) Williston State College
7.) Dakota College at Bottineau
Opening round of the Region XIII volleyball tournament will be Wednesday night when LRSC will take on Dawson CC at the sportscenter 7pm.
