Women's Basketball: Royals go 1-1 on the week. Earn a home playoff game Wednesday.
The Royals started the week at home against Dawson Community College, after multiple lead changes the Royals would end up dropping the game 71-70. Finished the week traveling to Bismarck to face Bismarck State College, they would pick up the win 81-69. The Royals move to 19-11 overall on the season (12-9 MonDak record).
The Royals celebrated sophomore night on Wednesday, celebrating Brooke Kleinig, Kyla Fitzgerald, Kelsey Crossan, Anisah Wolf, Carla Moros and Brailyn Davis-DeCoteau. "These six student athletes have demonstrated what it means to be a Royal Student-Athlete. They have been excellent examples in our community, in the classroom and on the basketball court. Thank you all for committing your hard work and dedication to this program. This program is in a better place because of you six". Said Head Coach Ryan Clark.
"Very proud with how our team played for majority of this week. We had one bad stretch against Dawson, for about 8 minutes but outside of that there was a lot of good basketball played. Excited for the opportunity to have a home playoff game Wednesday, we hope to see as many people there as possible". Said Head Coach Ryan Clark.
The Royals will be home this Wednesday, against Bismarck State College to start Region XIII tournament play.
