Women’s Basketball: Royals go 1-1 on the week.
The Royals started the week traveling to Bismarck to play United Tribes Technical College, the Royals would fall to the Thunderbirds 70-66. The Royals would bounce back for a 50-40 win against Miles City Community College at home on Sunday. The Royals move to 18-10 overall on the season (11-8 MonDak record).
“Another solid week for our team, we had several opportunities in the United Tribes game. Which we were not able to capitalize on. I really liked the second half effort we had in that game. It was nice to get back home for a game after three road games in a row. To keep Miles to 40 points was outstanding. I love the way our team is defending at the moment”. Said Head Coach Ryan Clark.
The Royals will be home this Wednesday, with a game against Dawson Community College before traveling to Bismarck to face Bismarck State College on Sunday the 25th of February for the final regular season game. The Royals will host a first-round playoff on Wednesday February 28th, opponent to be determined.
