Shay'Lee Dayman Signs with Simpson University

Head Coach Danny Mertens is excited to announce that Shay'Lee Dayman has decided to continue her athletic and academic career at Simpson University.
Shay'Lee, a sophomore forward for the Royals, is from Adelaide Australia. In her one season at LRSC Shay'Lee averaged 5.0ppg 4.9rpg while shooting 44% from the field. When asked about her choice Shay'Lee said, ""I wanted to continue playing basketball in the United States while receiving a high level of education and Simpson University ticked all the right boxes for me." She continued, "I really enjoyed all my time here at Lake Region State and I can't wait to for this next opportunity at Simpson."
Head Coach Danny Mertens said, "Shay'Lee was a do everything kind of player for us this season. Whatever the team needed, she did. She was an intrigal part of getting us to the Region XIII championship."
Simpson University is a four year University, in Redding, CA, that competes at the NAIA level.
