Head Coach Danny Mertens would say after, "You can't win a basketball game turning the ball over 30 times in a half. It was disappointing after we had executed so well in the first. R'rionna Brocks did a great job getting into the paint and creating for her teammates and herself tonight."
Head Coach Jared Marshall said, "Too many defensive lapses in the second half cost us. We did so well in the first half, some of the best basketball we have played all year. We just need to be consistent and finish games down the stretch. Big congratulations to our own Cedric Boone for surpassing the 1,000 point mark tonight."
With the losses the Lady Royals are now 17-10 (6-3) with the men 17-10 (5-4). Both teams will be back in action Monday, February 12th versus league leading NDSCS.
