Bio

Coach Kory Boehmer has been involved with the Lake Region State College (LRSC) softball program since it was formed in the 2013-2014 season. He is currently a science faculty member teaching Anatomy/Physiology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Microbiology. He has been with LRSC since 1997 starting full-time in 2004.

He was married to his wife, Colette, in 1992 and has one son, William, born in 1994. Kory has been active in the fastpitch softball world most of his life growing up watching his father, Mike, play and then later taking up the game himself. He has appeared in multiple national tournaments and has several North Dakota Class C Men’s fastpitch softball state championships. In 2000, his team (the Devils Lake Risers) that he pitched for took second place in the NAFA A National Tournament and he was named the most valuable pitcher for the tournament. Kory has a deep passion for teaching, softball, his family, and Lake Region State College.
