The Lake Region State College Royals played three games this week.
The week started off with a home win versus Bryant and Stratton College out of Wisconsin. LRSC would win the game 104-97 on the back of a 27 point effort from Steven Rawhire and a 25 point effort from Dion Ford. Leif Nelson would chip in 14 points off the bench.
After the home win the Royals would travel to Ottumwa, IA to take on Ellsworth CC. Ellsworth would go 22-34 from behind the arc drowning Lake Region from behind the arc to win 97-71. Steven Rawhire had 18 points, Dion Ford had 15 points and Myles Arnold had 13 points.
Next up was Missouri State West Plains. This one was close and despite being short handed the Royals would battle. A late run by MSU-WP would clinch it 102-83. Dion Ford had 23 points, Medi Obang had 15 points.
The Royals are now 6-10 on the season and will open up conference play on Wednesday January 8th versus Dakota College at Bottineau. The game will be 8:30pm at the sportscenter.
