Alex Weston Commits to Valley City State University

Head Coach Jared Marshall is excited to announce that Alex Weston will be continuing his athletic and academic career at Valley City State University.
Alex Weston, a 6'6 sophomore guard from Cando, ND, averaged 11.1ppg 4.8rpg 2.1apg while shooting 40% from the field and 35% from behind the arc. Alex spent two years at Lake Region State and was a vital member of two 19 win teams. Head Coach Jared Marshall said about Alex, "Alex is one of the best shooters I have ever coached. VCSU really got a good one who I think can make a big impact for them. Despite a few set backs throughout his career, Alex has continued to perservere through it all to be the best basketball player and person he can be. I am proud of Alex and wish him nothing but success moving forward."
Alex said, "I am excited to continue my career at Valley City state. I am looking forward to the opportunity to get back on the court next season. Staying close to home where my family would be able to see me was important and VCSU gives me that opportunity."
Valley City State is a four year university, in Valley City, ND and competes at the NAIA level.
